What a beautiful, wonderful Sunday in the South for us! We woke up earlier than normal today and actually had time for breakfast and got ready for our big day. We started the day with a great service at Berry FWB and then headed to Gardendale for a great singing. We went and heard Mike & Kelly Bowling and Jeff Snyder at Oak Grove FWB Church(I blogged about them in an earlier post). Their music is so real and heart felt and gives me just a taste of what Heaven will be like one of these days. Cute story- on the way home Levi and Houston were singing along to one of their CD's. The boys adore Mike and his singing. Levi said, "Momma is Mike gonna be retiring soon?" I said, "Probably not, Why son?" He said:"Cause I want a group of my own." I told him Mike didn't have to be retired for him to sing. He said:"Yes mam he does cause I want HIS band." Thought that was too cute. I'm so glad his heart has changed!HA Not kidding, just a few weeks ago someone asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said "A Rock Star"! Thank you Lord for answering prayers!HA But answer prayers, HE DOES!! My first born was baptized tonight!PRAISE GOD!! When Levi and I went back to get ready for his baptism, he said "I'm fixing to go down with the old Levi and come up with the new one!" That's awesome that he understands as much as he does at his young age. I have prayed for my boys since conception that God would save them at an early age and use them to do great things for his kingdom, and I believe he will answer. Houston is so sweet and hanging on to Levi's every little word lately, I know his day will come too, and I can't wait. Sure he's innocent now but just knowing for a fact that my family will ALWAYS be together whether in this life or heaven is enough to make me shout from the rooftops!! THANK YOU KK & JEREMY for coming. Also, Levi made a Bible in Sunday School this AM, thought I would share a couple pages from his "HOLEY BIBLE".
