Levi's 1st Buck
He finally got him one!! Have to say, lack of patience seems to run in the blood line of our family, BUT when it comes to hunting~they have the virtue!! He actually killed a doe his 1st year of hunting and missed a 7 point last year but this year "His Dream Buck".:) You would think this thing was huge, needed mounted, and surely would score high and in his book it did and that's all that matters. He is now asking me to call him "Deer Slayer". He's such a boy! Houston likes to hunt, BUT Houston really likes to go the "Shak", cook, eat and socialize. :) Whatever floats his boat.

Football Filled Fall
Josh and Adam did a FANTASTIC job with our little Wildcats. It was one of the best feelings I have ever experienced! Truly! To see my baby persevere, to see my husband hold his cool when he knew his little guys were being mistreated and to see the look of "proudness" on Houston's and the rest of my family's faces when Bubba-liscious won!! A wonderful season to remember and I pray I will be able to experience it again and again and again......
Also, I can't believe how the little town of Berry was so behind our team! On the signs, on the TV station, the high school supporting us, and we even had a little pep rally for our Wildcats! It will forever be a treasured Football Filled Fall!
My 2 Champions!

Houston's 1st Field Trip
We took a little field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. The class had a great time. Houston and Noah, of course, enjoyed each other's company and a great time was had by all. What child doesn't like bounce houses, blow up slides, animals, fishing and running wild in a wide open field?

Harvest King & Queen 2010
When Levi was in 1st Grade he was chosen to be a King Representative. He and Mack actually won that year. SO, when Levi comes home with a letter to be a 3rd Grade Rep., I tried to weasel out of it. Like, "Son, isn't there some kinda rule about being a Rep. after you've already won before?" "No, Momma. It's all good." "OK, this year and no more ok?" "Ok, Momma." (On Thursday) On Tuesday of the next week, note from school~ "Houston has been chosen for K Representative." Oh great! Anyway, couldn't tell him No cause he's in K and I have to realize just b/c Levi has experienced these things, Houston hasn't had the chance yet. Told the boys, I was proud for them. Talked it over that we would focus more on Houston's fundraising since Levi has already won. Agreed. We did focus on Houston more and he and his little Queen rep. won. :) Way to go Housto!!:)

Report Cards
The boys received their 2nd Report Cards of the year! 12 weeks of school already marked in the books! WOW! SO proud of their hard work. All A's for my 3rd Grader and All G's with 1 S for my K. He can double knot his shoes but still got a "S" in ties shoes well. Oh well.:) There could definitely be bigger problems. They are turning out to be more like their Daddy everyday. I cared about school but not really(isn't that awful?). But Josh, WHATEVER it was, including school, wanted to be the best at it!!:) I'm just believing, that will be a great quality of my little men.
They are loving their teachers and so am I!! We have had a great year thus far and can't even believe we are almost half way through the school year!!

Seriously......
We are approaching CHRISTmas in 27 days!! I have got to take the time to blog more. Since school started, I have truly been a blog slacker. Maybe that should be 1 of my New Year's resolutions. Because, seriously, it will be here in only 33 days!!
