CHRISTmas Parade

We had the little Berry CHRISTmas parade Saturday. Our PeeWee boys had a float. Turned out cute, I thought. Christy & Ad, Christy & Phillip and Josh & I all worked here at the house on it Friday night. Not anything special because when you have 26 little Superbowl Champs on it~it's special enough.:) Met at BHS to pick up our precious cargo and took off about 10 AM. By 11 AM, we were cleaning up. Told you we had the "little" parade. :) Of course, all the boys had fun being together and throwing candy. EASY!! Do boys know how to throw anything easy?! With this marked off the calendar, it means we are 1 weekend closer to CHRISTmas!! My boys are really looking forward to it!

Levi had pulled an "all nighter" at a sleep over!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN!!

My precious PawPaw would have celebrated his 76th Birthday today!! It's amazing how he seems more real to me than ever before. When I see my boys do certain things, when I hear certain "lines" he use to quote, when I look at my precious Grandmother who loves him like he is still right beside her. I can't wait to see you again!! You would be so proud of all those you left behind. But I know you are celebrating eternally, not just once a year as on earth. I Love you and miss you terribly!! But I know One who loved you more and now you are in His almighty presence!! Happy Birthday in Heaven, my Hero of Faith....

These boys!!

Levi and Houston were in the kitchen floor, putting on school shoes. I went to change out of my pjs.
H-"Well Bubba, he's gonna get what he gets!"
L- "No, Bub, you can't do that cause if you get in trouble at school, you'll sure get in trouble at home."
H-"Well, I'm just telling you, you don't mess with the big man on campus."

OH MY!! Didn't ask any questions and haven't gotten a call from BES. So apparently no one messed with the big man.HA I told ya'll.... "6" and he thinks he can conquer the world. :)

Christmas Time's A Coming!!

OH SO LOVE this time of year! Just got the tree up this weekend and can't wait for the excitement that takes place over the next few weeks. A little shopping is out of the way, but still got plenty more to do.

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ The Lord."Luke 2:11

This amazing night becomes more dear every year!:)

Toyland

Enjoyed a field trip with my sweet Levi this week. The 3rd Grade went Thursday, to NW Shoals Community College and watched a production of "Toyland". It was cute and pretty much kept their attention the whole hour and 15 mins.! Amazing to me that NOT ONE of them had to go to the bathroom or get water during this amount of time. :) Left my camera in the van and didn't get the 1st picture! But after the program, we went back to McDonalds in Haleyville and that was CHAOS!! So, I guess the program was the calm BEFORE the storm. :) We did have a great day overall and so thankful when I get a little 1 on 1 time with each of them.

KK Update

My sister goes tomorrow to find out what the twins are going to be!! Pray they cooperate!!:) I'm feeling the 1 Boy/1 Girl vibe. She's feeling the 2 Boys vibe. Whatever, I just can't wait for them to get here!!:)

Levi's 1st Buck

He finally got him one!! Have to say, lack of patience seems to run in the blood line of our family, BUT when it comes to hunting~they have the virtue!! He actually killed a doe his 1st year of hunting and missed a 7 point last year but this year "His Dream Buck".:) You would think this thing was huge, needed mounted, and surely would score high and in his book it did and that's all that matters. He is now asking me to call him "Deer Slayer". He's such a boy! Houston likes to hunt, BUT Houston really likes to go the "Shak", cook, eat and socialize. :) Whatever floats his boat.

Football Filled Fall

We began football practice in August and wrapped up our season on November 20, 2010! WHAT A SEASON!! The PeeWee Wildcats went 6-1 in regular season and won their Jamboree and Benefit games!! We then headed to the play-offs. Had great wins with Round 1 and Round 2 play-off games!! We then headed to Semi-finals on 11/13/10. We faced Cordova, who had given us our only loss. But we found redemption!! The boys fought so hard and won 16-8 over The Blue Devils!! My #58, had his BEST GAME OF THE YEAR!! He was a "Wild-Man" according to Houston. :) We then headed to The Pee Wee Superbowl!! We played Winfield and the 2 coaches and the 3 refs IF you know what I mean. (and that's all I'm gonna say about that) Anyway, Overtime~ FINAL 22-20 Berry!! WOO-HOO!!

Josh and Adam did a FANTASTIC job with our little Wildcats. It was one of the best feelings I have ever experienced! Truly! To see my baby persevere, to see my husband hold his cool when he knew his little guys were being mistreated and to see the look of "proudness" on Houston's and the rest of my family's faces when Bubba-liscious won!! A wonderful season to remember and I pray I will be able to experience it again and again and again......

Also, I can't believe how the little town of Berry was so behind our team! On the signs, on the TV station, the high school supporting us, and we even had a little pep rally for our Wildcats! It will forever be a treasured Football Filled Fall!

One Big Happy Family

Hallelujah Night

We had our annual Hallelujah Night at church. As always, FUN, FUN, FUN!! I did a little craft in my Sunday School class this year and I think it was a hit. We went with the western theme again this year. The children ALL loved it! Just Houston and I went on the hayride. It was great to get a little one on one time with him. He never let go of my hand. His little hand still fits perfectly in mine. :)

Houston's 1st Field Trip

We took a little field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. The class had a great time. Houston and Noah, of course, enjoyed each other's company and a great time was had by all. What child doesn't like bounce houses, blow up slides, animals, fishing and running wild in a wide open field?

Harvest King & Queen 2010

When Levi was in 1st Grade he was chosen to be a King Representative. He and Mack actually won that year. SO, when Levi comes home with a letter to be a 3rd Grade Rep., I tried to weasel out of it. Like, "Son, isn't there some kinda rule about being a Rep. after you've already won before?" "No, Momma. It's all good." "OK, this year and no more ok?" "Ok, Momma." (On Thursday) On Tuesday of the next week, note from school~ "Houston has been chosen for K Representative." Oh great! Anyway, couldn't tell him No cause he's in K and I have to realize just b/c Levi has experienced these things, Houston hasn't had the chance yet. Told the boys, I was proud for them. Talked it over that we would focus more on Houston's fundraising since Levi has already won. Agreed. We did focus on Houston more and he and his little Queen rep. won. :) Way to go Housto!!:)

Report Cards

The boys received their 2nd Report Cards of the year! 12 weeks of school already marked in the books! WOW! SO proud of their hard work. All A's for my 3rd Grader and All G's with 1 S for my K. He can double knot his shoes but still got a "S" in ties shoes well. Oh well.:) There could definitely be bigger problems. They are turning out to be more like their Daddy everyday. I cared about school but not really(isn't that awful?). But Josh, WHATEVER it was, including school, wanted to be the best at it!!:) I'm just believing, that will be a great quality of my little men.

They are loving their teachers and so am I!! We have had a great year thus far and can't even believe we are almost half way through the school year!!

Seriously......

We are approaching CHRISTmas in 27 days!! I have got to take the time to blog more. Since school started, I have truly been a blog slacker. Maybe that should be 1 of my New Year's resolutions. Because, seriously, it will be here in only 33 days!!

Long Time, No Post

WOW!! "Crazy Busy" are the 2 words that come to mind!! I've also had camera issues and haven't been able to really download pics too fast. There is definitely no sign of slowing down with the holidays in the near future but I do have my camera issue solved, I'm hoping!!

Many days, over the last month, have been filled with some kind of football! Whether PeeWee Games, PeeWee practice, BHS Friday night games, or BAMA football, I would have to say most of our time has been occupied by these. We did celebrate Homecoming at BHS and Homecoming at BFWBC this past month also. We did finish our regular season PeeWee games and have made it to Play-Offs!! WOO HOO!!! Our 1st game will be Saturday, GLW!! If we win, we continue. If we don't, we will have some sad little fellas on our hands!! So, cross your fingers for a WIN!! The boys were also able to go to a BAMA game b/c of a PeeWee off day. The BAMA games have been down to a minimum since Levi started PeeWee last year. However, watching Levi is SO enjoyable. It's amazing how your heart just swells with pride and how your eyes just seem to fill with tears so often! :)

They also received their 1st 6 weeks report cards earlier this month. SO PROUD OF MY BABIES!! All A Honor Roll for Levi and lots of G's with 1S and 1N for Houston. :) Houston's "N" you may ask, what was that for? Well, it was for not knowing his address, which he knows and has known for some time. I asked him why the "N" for address~his explanation, "she asked me in nap time and I was real tired and I just couldn't get good awake and think of it." Well I guess we can let that slide, this time.:) Levi also turned in his first "Project". A poster advertising his state and trying to persuade tourists to visit Alabama. Did he enjoy it? Not so much. Did Houston? He loved it! Too bad Houston couldn't have turned his poster in for Levi. Houston made his own and it was too cute. Levi, well he just wanted the "required stuff from that yellow sheet list" on his and that was good enough for him. :) Houston also went on his 1st Field Trip~Pumpkin Patch.:)

Josh has been BUSY at work and traveling when not at work. And when home and not working, coaching and after coaching, Deaconing and after Deaconing, well his list goes on and on too. I appreciate him more and more every day for all he does for us.:)

BIG NEWS!!!!
My sister is having twins!!~Expected arrival end of April 2011!!
My brother was ordained as a Minister!! Now, Pastor of Macedonia FWB Church in Millport!!

We have been so busy but so thankful for all the Lord has allowed us to enjoy!!

I know there is so much, I've failed to mention. SO, when they cross my crazy mind once again, probably going down the road, and when I get home, I'll forget about them again, then I'll think of them in the middle of the night, then I'll be posting. :)

And one more thing~ I CANNOT BELIEVE IT IS ALMOST NOVEMBER!!

Levi's Latest

A little fever, sinus drainage and not feeling to well put us at the Peds. office this AM. Sinus Infection. Got diagnosed and he just really felt like meeting KK at the mall afterwards. Amazing!! Anyway, made a purchase at Belk. No, they didn't need it all but they would look oh so handsome.:) Passed by Game Stop. "Can I please, please go in here?" "Sure." He looks. He finds. He begs. He sucks it up when I say no and off we go until...."But Momma. You paid $35 for that silly Polo Shirt. That game was just $30. It's way more importaner than a shirt. I got a closet full of 'em." :)

Camera Help

I am having a hard time transferring my pics from the camera to the computer. Some are just perfect. Others, look like they may change shades 2-3 times thru the frame. It has to be in the transfer. It's a normal pic when I view on my camera. Any suggestions?! Thanks in advance.:)

"Catch-Up"

It seems I'm doing a lot of "Catch-Up" lately. We have been really busy. You would think with both the boys in school I would have caught-up already. However, it seems to have multiplied some how. The laundry, the house work, the blog, the volunteering, the..... definitely not complaining, but all these need caught-up on. I have made a list of things to "get organized", "projects", etc. that I was hoping to soon start scratching off my list when school started back. NOT 1!! has been scratched off. SO, I either to manage my time more wisely or something. The Yukon IN the garage for a couple of days in a row might help.ha :)

Now, to play "Catch-Up"for this month. It is half way over already!! We have managed to keep ourselves busy with school, evenings of homework, football practice, games, church, and just everyday stuff. Nothing extra special has happened this month. But everyday is an extra-special gift from God and we have been taking advantage of each. The boys have gotten into a good routine. They are both doing well in their classes. Both had very good grades and positive comments from their teachers on the latest progress report.

Levi is learning how to study and be a little more independent every day. He is so precious and still has such a loving spirit~Even in 3rd Grade!(I was told that was rare, but hope he never changes.) Houston continues to get "more adjusted every day". He is tickled to be in the room with Noah. As a matter of fact, some days they are a little TOO tickled to be in the room with each other. They both still got a "Green" but it was "Green with a warning" from getting tickled when Noah got the hiccups and to hear them tell it, "they just couldn't stop laughing!":)

Can't remember if I have posted about this but I also took a Sunday School Class this past month. "Pre-Teen"!! We are having a blast!! Precious kiddos who are between "children" and "young people". The Lord has blessed me already. I'm amazed to see their eagerness to learn more of God's word. Had 2 special kiddos in the class that did their Daily Bible Reading every single day of August AND had Perfect Attendance!! That is a huge accomplishment considering how busy and over-scheduled everyone stays these days. They are learning and so am I. It's gonna be great for us all~I hope. :)

Josh. My Knight in Shining Armor. Still supports and spoils us with all his might. Never has there been a more dedicated Father and Husband than my Honey. Men like him are few and far between. And I'm so glad he chose me to be by his side.

SO....."Catch-Up"!! Think I did a little. For my memory sake more than anybody else. :) By the way, I'm LOVING the signs of the upcoming season. My Favorite!! Fall.....
Football, Football, Football!!! Our family LOVES it!! The PeeWee Wildcats have been doing great!! These are a few shots from the last game.
My Sweet Levi was Captain.
Let's Play Ball Boys!! We won the toss!!

Houston's Party

What a beautiful day for a party!! We were blessed with beautiful sunshine and a nice pool to cool us down. He had his heart set on a Toy Story 3 party and that he got. Lots of family and friends and lots of spoiling the birthday boy!! My baby is "6" and he now thinks he can conquer the world!

Football Has Begun!!

Levi is enjoying his 2nd year of playing PeeWee Toybowl! He has a new # this year....#58. Why is he not #22 this year? WEIGHT!!:) You have to be 80 lbs and under to be in the back field. If you remember, last year he weighed-in at the big Toybowl Association Weigh-In~in his underwear!! That's how bad he wanted to run the ball last year. This year, we didn't even try. He is weighing in at about 90 lbs. so on the line he goes and you just can't wear #22 and be on the line!! Or so he says. So he chose #58. You just wonder what their reasoning may be for things like this and his~ "It was Derick Thomas' old #"! SO, pretty good choice, I thought. The first season game is on Saturday. Looking forward to it and he is pumped!!

We have played a benefit game in Hamilton and a Jamboree game in Cordova. So they are looking forward to "the real games." Houston and Noah continue to run up and down the bleachers, eat snacks, go to the bathroom(15x) and occupy themselves while their big brothers take the field. Go Cats!!

Benefit Game~Before New Game Jerseys

First Day of School

The boys have had a great start to the new school year thus far. Levi-3rd Grader, is doing great and is definitely feeling "Big" showing his Bubba the ropes. Houston-K, is doing so good. I have been so tickled at how he has reacted and fell right in to place.

I on the other hand, am trying to get use to the "quietness"!!! I like the noise. I like the snack cabinet slamming shut. I like the loud TV that shows the same Disney XD re-runs 4x a week. I will get use to it, I know. I do however, look so forward to 2:30. Leave for the car line and know they BOTH will soon be under my care. They are maturing and I can already tell a difference in them and it's only been 3 weeks. Thus is life and thus I will EVER be grateful to have the privilege of being their Momma. :)

Say What??!!!

The last time you blogged was July 7!! Say What??!! This was brought to my attention~I checked and sure thang~last blog entry 7/7/10!! The summer truly was a blink. We did enjoy so many wonderful things this summer!! All of us went thru the summer unharmed and healthy!! SO, that in itself is a wonderful summer break.

Where to start?? I really don't know. How much should I include? How long will it take me to catch up?? Well, I'm just gonna post a little at a time. And please don't get aggravated if you're seeing swimsuit pictures when you may also be seeing pumpkins, mums and changing leaves!:)

I will however, leave you with one of the latest "Houston Humors".(who is always cracking me up!)

Houston~"Amy!! Me and Noah saw a witch up on the hill!!(we were at football practice)
Amy~"You know what witches love to eat?!"
Houston~"Little boys?"
Amy~"Yes little boys with Nike tennis shoes on."
Houston~"Aw man, I should've wore my New Balances!!" :)

Thanks Amy for encouraging him to "KEEP" his imagination. Instead of trying to convince him there are NO WITCHES!!(love ya chic) :)

Movie Day

Nana treated us to a Movie Day! We saw Karate Kid and the boys loved it!! Levi literally cheered out loud during the last 15 mins. or so. So cute!! I could learn a lot from their innocent little minds. WHO CARES WHAT EVERYBODY AROUND YOU THINKS?!! Oh, I don't even need to get started on that one, anyway. We enjoyed lunch, movie, and the boys even got in a little Starbucks while I made a pit stop at Best Buy. Thanks Nana! We really enjoyed it! Now Good Lord Willing, the next 10 days will involve "Church Youth Camp" and then "Cannon Family Camping" and in b/t I have to find time to actually pack for all this camping. Looking forward to it already. The camping that is. The packing, not so much. :)

Baseball Parties

The boys love baseball but they also loved the fact that it was over and they would soon be getting a trophy! Houston's "first-ever trophy"~he was so proud of that thing. Levi loved his too, not his 1st but just as excited! Once we started practice, it was like we blinked and we were partying. When the 2nd one gets in the mix, it really does put into 2nd gear! We stayed busy but were also blessed to stay healthy through the whole season. Levi is already talking about football. Houston, not so much. He could take it or leave it. Levi is all ball ALL the time. Houston, well he just likes it when he likes it. :) Gotta love 'em!!

The 2010 5-6 YO Reds less Libbie.
You looking at my trophy? Don't you get any ideas! That looks exactly what he's thinking!
Oh yeahhhh, what I've been waiting for all my life. :)
Enjoying all of God's Creation!! What a beautiful day we had to enjoy it!!

Before the jump......

Walking on water after the jump!HA

Thanks Coach~I think I love you. :)
YUMMY!!!
