RED SOX vs D'BACKS

We played our 2nd game tonight and they all did so good. We won 4-0 and they all had a great time. We played the Hubbertville team and saw some familiar faces. Levi was 1 for 2 with another home run and grounded out to first. He was down on himself for getting out but we tried to let him know that happens to everybody. He really drilled it down the first base line and the guy at first made a great stop! We play again on Thursday @ Fayette against the Orioles. Thanks MawMaw Sheila, Nana, MawMaw BJ, Skyler and Mrs. Clements for being there to cheer us on!

My "Engine" Turtles

Levi and Houston have huge imaginations and love to "pretend". Today has been the day of the Ninja Turtles, however, Houston will argue for an hour that it says "Engine" Turtles. I love to hear them saving the world and fighting "the bad guys". Their hilarious. Earlier this week, they were on the Star Wars kick and Levi was "Son Polo" while Houston was a "Rookie". I'm so thankful for the joy they bring me EVERYDAY!

GAME DAY

We pulled it out! We played the Cardinals tonight for the FIRST game of the season and won! I am soo proud of our team! The little Red Sox showed up when it counted and they were so happy to have won. The weather was a little chilly, windy, rainy, yucky, etc. but they were all little troopers and hung in there. Levi was 2for2 and had his first home run of the season. Josh did a great job pitching and coaching. I tried to do dug-out duty plus learn how to keep the book today, so needless to say, it was very BUSY!! Mrs.Angie, is it my turn, can I go pee, can I please be catcher, is this thing almost over, I can't find my helmet, glove, bat etc.,you got a blanket I can use?! Just a few of the comments that were made, oh probably about 10 times each, but it was still a lot of fun. A special thanks to Jill and Richie for sponsoring our team shirts. And THANKS so much for all of our family that came out. MawMaw Sheila, Pop and Nana, Beverly and Riley and our nephews even got to be there-Jason, Kelly, Eli and James. We LOVE all of ya'll! We will play again next Monday so say a little prayer for us!

LEVI'S BIG DAY

My baby is officially "6"!! Thanks to everybody that came to the party and especially for all the gifts(and to my family for the food/drinks and KK for last min errands). Our family and friends have him soooo rotten! We had our first official sleepover last night. Isaac, Trevor and Justin plus Levi and Houston made for 5 rowdy boys and they had a ball!! Thanks boys for making Levi's birthday so exciting. No one cried for Mom and we actually got in bed around 10:30. But not long after laying down, the giggling and odors began. Boys...that should explain it.HA! Levi and his sleepover buddies were up and at it around 6:30 and were sliding and jumping by 7:30. Levi hurt his foot in the bounce house and has barely walked all day, please say a little prayer for him(his baseball games start Monday, I hope he can play). We started the "Sports Theme" party around 10:30 and the children started piling in(I believe their were about 50 special people here) and of course the most favorite guest of the day....Mrs. Clements(We LOVE you so much!). Complete w/cake, gifts, friends, family and BEAUTIFUL weather. Thank you LORD for another blessed, blessed year.

'Da Boys!

After the rain, they had to play some backyard ball!

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY, LEVI!!

I cannot believe my baby will be "6" on Sat.(4/12/02)!! The time has truly flown and has been filled with WONDERFUL memories. I was put on bed rest @ 9 weeks pregnant with him and told that I would probably have a miscarriage. The LORD does answer prayers!! It was amazing and horrifying all at the same time. Several ultrasounds were done over a course of a week and we literally watched the LORD move before our eyes. The first ultrasound actually showed him at the opening of my uterus and by the last ultrasound he had moved back up and was ultimately called a miracle!! A miracle he is and I owe it all to my LORD and SAVIOUR!! We had a rough delivery but "he's as healthy as a horse" to quote my Grandaddy. He arrived "sunny side up"on 4/12/02 weighing 8lbs.6oz. Who knew life could be so great and rewarding when your precious children arrive. I am sooo thankful for "My Miracle" and pray that GOD uses him to bless others in a special way, but nothing could be more special than how he blesses me everyday with his smile, hugs, kisses and laughter. Levi, Mommy loves you to the moon and back!!! And he usually replies, "And I love you to the ocean and back and that's farrr ain't it Momma?!"

Tulip Trip 2008

I finally got the chance to take the boys pics. in the tulips. Between our schedule and the weather ,it has been hard to find an opportunity. However, we found the time and they did great. I will have to say this year was the easiest yet! I guess they have learned the drill by now- if we do good it's over fast and a surprise awaits! We changed in the car, (as you know we live out in the middle of nowhere so we can't go anywhere dressed unless we want seat belt lines and wrinkles all over the clothes), and Levi has gotten so self conscience lately. He said "Ya'll need to close the door I don't want to look like a "hoobilum", while at the same time Houston has pulled it out and is peeing in the "Faculty Only" parking lot(thanks Nana, LOL), and Houston then adds,"Yea, we look like naked jay-birds." They both thought that was hilarious. They keep me rolling. We only seemed to have one issue, other than peeing in public, and I'm sure your children have went through it too...."the fake smile stage". For the life of me, I could not get Levi to just relax and smile normal. His teeth are coming in and some more are loose so I believe his mouth just feels awkward. We tried all the sayings, cheese, cheeseburger, monkey, girls, etc. Nothing seemed to work but he is still soooo handsome! Of course, Houston cheesed it up and they really did have a good time. We did have a few outtakes but those are precious memories, right?!

Thanks Nana for your help!

"My Little Men"

"Peek-A-Boo"

OUT-TAKES!

When Levi saw this pic. he told Houston,"You look like a monkey when he scratches and picks his fleas and eats them!" Yummy, huh?
I don't know why they have been doing this lately. I believe the Alvin and The Chipmunks CD has been played one too many times and they have "Got Munk'd"
Trying to kiss but this is as close as they would get!

They wanted to make funny faces so we gave it a shot!

Get Well Soon, Eli!!

Our nephew Eli(2) has the flu. His little brother James(1) had it about 3 weeks ago and now Eli has it. We hope you feel better SOON Eli and the boys have been saying prayers for you all week, at meal time, in the car, Levi put you on the prayer list at church and of course at bedtime prayers. "Childlike Faith", don't we all need more of it?! Here's a little "Get Well Message" for you and then the boys wanted to sing you a song! Jesus loves you and so does Uncle Josh, "Aunt Annie", Levi and Houston!
