In Loving Memory of My Precious PawPaw, Pastor & Prayer Warrior

Johnny Edward Bozeman

Dec.7, 1934-Feb.26, 2007

I cannot believe it has been a year since I have been able to hug, touch or talk to my PawPaw. It has been so hard for our family to let go of "Our Rock". I do believe without a shadow of doubt he is in the presence of Almighty God and is enjoying all the joys he ministered about for over 50 years. I have always heard the LORD only takes the best and I truly believe that he was one of the best, most Godly men I have ever known. Yes, he was human, but he was so close to GOD it was amazing! Just to have the wisdom, faith and dedication that he had. He left such a Legacy! When we were getting ready for his funeral, the boys were all going through some of his suits and they found this written on a piece of paper that he had jotted down and was folded up in one of his suit pockets. He had used this a few weeks before his death in one of his messages:

"Many left their homeland to come to America. Many went West hunting for a better land. Abraham left his homeland seeking a better land. Bible says he was seeking a city whose builder and Maker is GOD. So man will never be satisfied 'til we reach that New Heaven and Earth."...........

I truly believe HE'S SATISFIED!

WELCOME: Elizabeth Claire Bozeman!!

Baby Beth arrived Fri, 2/22/08 at 4:56 PM. She weighed 8lbs. and was 193/4" long. What a CUTIE!! It is so odd to see all the pink! Mary Kathryn did great and Luke was right by her side. They are so wonderful for each other. Ben(18mths.) could care less! I mean, come on, PLAY w/all this great company or pause for pics. w/a baby I've never seen before! You guessed it, Let's Play! He is so precious and I know he will be a great big brother. My boys of course think she is absolutely adoreable. Levi told KK when she was going to see her in the nursery, "KK, she is so sweet, you're just gonna cry." And then he had to hold her several times and just kissed all over her. When we got home he said, "I just can't get Baby Beth out of my mind." Same for Houston, he wanted to hold and kiss her the whole time. We revisited today and they still couldn't get enough of her. Please keep Luke, MK, Ben and Beth in your prayers. They will be adjusting to a new angel and are in the process of building a house, so just mention their names when you pray.

FAMILY FUN

We had a chance to meet up w/ KK, MawMaw Sheila, Luke, MK, Ben, Bro.Lewis and Mrs.Eveleen(longtime, precious friends) in Tuscaloosa on Tues. It was nice to be together and just enjoy the day, which is very rare in this fast paced world we live in. We all had lunch, shopped and then had supper at Jalepeno's and dessert at TCBY w/ KK. The boys love spending time w/her and I believe the feeling is mutual!

We don't get out much! They wanted to ride the donkey at Jalepeno's!
Houston also loved the guy w/the "Sumbrello"!

"Let's Play!"

Levi was out of school today for inservice. He is also out Monday for Pres.Day so we are excited about a long weekend! So we have played outside all day thus far and it has been great weather!! The boys have played ball, deer huntin', caught bugs, played in the sandbox, you name it I believe they've give it a shot. They also love to play on the swingset and I thought, the paparazzi Mom that I am, let's take a few pics. Houston then says, "Yea Bubba, let's take one. Come on, "Fruit Hug"(he meant Group Hug)!"

Valentine's Day

I hope everybody had a wonderful Valentine's Day and got to enjoy the day with those you love the most! We had our first school Valentine's party and boy was it LOUD!! Levi's class enjoyed pizza and cookies(due to the strict state diet regulations at school), nothing like it was when I was in school, however, we still enjoyed exchanging cards and treats. A special thanks to KK, MawMaw Sheila and Nana for joining the festivities! Houston LOVES any opportunity to go to Bubba's room and he fit right in w/ everyone. The boys and Josh are always so thoughtful of me around the holidays and I appreciate and LOVE ya'll so much!! I would just like to take this time to reflect upon the unconditional love of my LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. Where would we be without it?! I'm so unworthy yet his love is so abundant!! I look at my boys and think, there is no way in this world I could allow them to be beaten, spat upon, mocked and crucified for ANYONE in this world. Yet, he turned his back on his only begotten, perfect son and gave him up all because of LOVE!! Thank you GOD for your most beloved posession and may I never forget the meaning of TRUE LOVE.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Thank you LORD for another wonderful year with Josh. Josh celebrated his 32nd B-Day on Feb.10 and the boys of course wanted to make a cake for him. Check out this masterpiece. A few sprinkles, choc. chips and nesquick syrup, YUMMY!! I am SO thankful for the Godly example he lives before our boys everyday. He is my soulmate, my best friend and the only man in the world I will ever love with ALL my heart.

Fun-filled, Sun-filled Saturday

Wasn't it a beautiful day?!! The weather was great, the boys were healthy and GOD allowed us to enjoy another day, what more could you ask for? We started the day off with Upward and the boys were on fire today!! Houston told Levi when we got in the car, "The woof, the woof, the woof is on fya, let Bubba have the ball and watch the score go hya!" He always keeps us laughing. The boys did have a great game and we are down to our last 2. By the way, a special "THANKS!" to the Tiger Fan Club, which seems to be growing every game. Last week, we had MawMaw BJ, MawMaw Sheila, PawPaw Kenneth, Nana, KK, Skyler and the guest of honor MRS.CLEMENTS!!"(Mr.Larry, too). She was the highlight of the game. If Levi did ANYTHING, good or bad, he never looked at any of his family but always to Mrs.Clements for encouragement. She is SO special and we are so thankful for her. They almost couldn't play for looking at her! They wanted to be sure she was looking at them! And at today's game, Uncle Luke, Ben and Uncle Jeremy got to be part of the fan club as well! We then had lunch w/Pop and Nana and finally HOME! What a fun-filled, sun-filled Saturday!!

Isaac always thinks Levi is so funny!

Houston LOVES to "break it down"!

"McSweaty"

Their BIGGEST fan!

They were playing Pirates of the Caribbean. They were waiting on Davey Jones to attack at anytime!
Levi practiced baseball today and wanted to know if we would play in the "Out-Garden" again this year. Isn't that hilarious?
Daddy and Houston worked on the truck. They ended up having to take the bed off and change the fuel pump. Good Job Guys!

"Thumb-Toe"

Just thought I would share a little funny from Houston. We were talking this AM about how big he was getting and that he was growing up too fast. He then said, "Mommy, look at my thumb-toe it's getting big too!! I said, "What?" He said,(with a look of why do I have to repeat myself), "my thumb-toe." "See,(putting his left hand down to his left foot), this is my thumb and this is my thumb-toe." I thought it was hilarious and explained that we just call it the "big-toe." Thank you GOD for all the joy my boys continue to bring!!
