Levi's Latest

A little fever, sinus drainage and not feeling to well put us at the Peds. office this AM. Sinus Infection. Got diagnosed and he just really felt like meeting KK at the mall afterwards. Amazing!! Anyway, made a purchase at Belk. No, they didn't need it all but they would look oh so handsome.:) Passed by Game Stop. "Can I please, please go in here?" "Sure." He looks. He finds. He begs. He sucks it up when I say no and off we go until...."But Momma. You paid $35 for that silly Polo Shirt. That game was just $30. It's way more importaner than a shirt. I got a closet full of 'em." :)

Camera Help

I am having a hard time transferring my pics from the camera to the computer. Some are just perfect. Others, look like they may change shades 2-3 times thru the frame. It has to be in the transfer. It's a normal pic when I view on my camera. Any suggestions?! Thanks in advance.:)

"Catch-Up"

It seems I'm doing a lot of "Catch-Up" lately. We have been really busy. You would think with both the boys in school I would have caught-up already. However, it seems to have multiplied some how. The laundry, the house work, the blog, the volunteering, the..... definitely not complaining, but all these need caught-up on. I have made a list of things to "get organized", "projects", etc. that I was hoping to soon start scratching off my list when school started back. NOT 1!! has been scratched off. SO, I either to manage my time more wisely or something. The Yukon IN the garage for a couple of days in a row might help.ha :)

Now, to play "Catch-Up"for this month. It is half way over already!! We have managed to keep ourselves busy with school, evenings of homework, football practice, games, church, and just everyday stuff. Nothing extra special has happened this month. But everyday is an extra-special gift from God and we have been taking advantage of each. The boys have gotten into a good routine. They are both doing well in their classes. Both had very good grades and positive comments from their teachers on the latest progress report.

Levi is learning how to study and be a little more independent every day. He is so precious and still has such a loving spirit~Even in 3rd Grade!(I was told that was rare, but hope he never changes.) Houston continues to get "more adjusted every day". He is tickled to be in the room with Noah. As a matter of fact, some days they are a little TOO tickled to be in the room with each other. They both still got a "Green" but it was "Green with a warning" from getting tickled when Noah got the hiccups and to hear them tell it, "they just couldn't stop laughing!":)

Can't remember if I have posted about this but I also took a Sunday School Class this past month. "Pre-Teen"!! We are having a blast!! Precious kiddos who are between "children" and "young people". The Lord has blessed me already. I'm amazed to see their eagerness to learn more of God's word. Had 2 special kiddos in the class that did their Daily Bible Reading every single day of August AND had Perfect Attendance!! That is a huge accomplishment considering how busy and over-scheduled everyone stays these days. They are learning and so am I. It's gonna be great for us all~I hope. :)

Josh. My Knight in Shining Armor. Still supports and spoils us with all his might. Never has there been a more dedicated Father and Husband than my Honey. Men like him are few and far between. And I'm so glad he chose me to be by his side.

SO....."Catch-Up"!! Think I did a little. For my memory sake more than anybody else. :) By the way, I'm LOVING the signs of the upcoming season. My Favorite!! Fall.....
Football, Football, Football!!! Our family LOVES it!! The PeeWee Wildcats have been doing great!! These are a few shots from the last game.
My Sweet Levi was Captain.
Let's Play Ball Boys!! We won the toss!!

Houston's Party

What a beautiful day for a party!! We were blessed with beautiful sunshine and a nice pool to cool us down. He had his heart set on a Toy Story 3 party and that he got. Lots of family and friends and lots of spoiling the birthday boy!! My baby is "6" and he now thinks he can conquer the world!

Football Has Begun!!

Levi is enjoying his 2nd year of playing PeeWee Toybowl! He has a new # this year....#58. Why is he not #22 this year? WEIGHT!!:) You have to be 80 lbs and under to be in the back field. If you remember, last year he weighed-in at the big Toybowl Association Weigh-In~in his underwear!! That's how bad he wanted to run the ball last year. This year, we didn't even try. He is weighing in at about 90 lbs. so on the line he goes and you just can't wear #22 and be on the line!! Or so he says. So he chose #58. You just wonder what their reasoning may be for things like this and his~ "It was Derick Thomas' old #"! SO, pretty good choice, I thought. The first season game is on Saturday. Looking forward to it and he is pumped!!

We have played a benefit game in Hamilton and a Jamboree game in Cordova. So they are looking forward to "the real games." Houston and Noah continue to run up and down the bleachers, eat snacks, go to the bathroom(15x) and occupy themselves while their big brothers take the field. Go Cats!!

Benefit Game~Before New Game Jerseys

First Day of School

The boys have had a great start to the new school year thus far. Levi-3rd Grader, is doing great and is definitely feeling "Big" showing his Bubba the ropes. Houston-K, is doing so good. I have been so tickled at how he has reacted and fell right in to place.

I on the other hand, am trying to get use to the "quietness"!!! I like the noise. I like the snack cabinet slamming shut. I like the loud TV that shows the same Disney XD re-runs 4x a week. I will get use to it, I know. I do however, look so forward to 2:30. Leave for the car line and know they BOTH will soon be under my care. They are maturing and I can already tell a difference in them and it's only been 3 weeks. Thus is life and thus I will EVER be grateful to have the privilege of being their Momma. :)
