JUST A GOOD 'OLE BOY....

Houston celebrated his 4th B-Day with a "Dukes of Hazzard" party! Yea, that's exactly what I thought. I don't believe I've ever heard of this for a party theme but that's what my little man requested and that's my little man got. I just knew he would say some kind of character off TV or "sports" of some kind but that precious little mind did not hesitate when I asked him what kind of party he would like. "I want a Dukes of Hazzard party, Momma", so I tried to deliver. First of all, have you ever tried to find Dukes of Hazzard party supplies?! Well don't waste your time b/c it's not out there, ANYWHERE!! So, we settled with orange plates and silverware, Confederate flag bandannas, DOH cake and a poster. The occasional "Yee-Haw" rang out over the house now and then and the ever famous tune of the horn sounded as they ran in and out so I believe we pulled it off. Houston couldn't have been happier!! We had planned to swim at Nana's but Fay changed all that so we just played here at the house, and play they did. In the house, in the rain, in the garage, in the house, back in the rain, you get the picture. I'm so thankful for all our friends and family that came to spend the day with us and a special thanks for the gifts, especially all the green stuff, he loves his "Twenty-Eighteen Dollars". "That's not a number Bubba!" Levi informs. "Who cares!" Houston informs back. Too cute! SO now all I have to do is clean out the playroom to make room for all the new stuff and in about 4 short months make room for more. Are kids these days just stinkin' rotten or what?! But I love every stinkin' rotten bone in their little bodies!! By the way, for those of you wandering, you can breathe a sigh of relief, NO ONE sported any daisy dukes!!! HA!

The boys before the guests arrived. Bo and Luke don't stand a chance!!

Is that a pose or what?

With his new bike from Daddy, Mommy and "Bub"

The Big 4!

The cake was so cute and delicious! Thanks Zelda!!

I just wander what in the world they wish for, don't you?!
