Another hunting season has arrived and so has mealtime at The Shack. My Grandaddy loves to cook lunch on Sat. for all the hunters and his family. Why is it, it always taste better there? We had a fish fry today and it was delicious! I'm so thankful he is able to enjoy this time of year. He is so proud of his family and loves them very much. He may not verbally express it often, but his smile says it all.

Cannon Christmas Day 2008
We played around here and then headed to Nana and Pop's around 2:00PM for Christmas with them. The trampoline was set up when they got there and they had a fit. I tried to jump for a little and try some tricks from back in the day, but you know the bladder's not what it used to be back in the day, you know what I mean? The boys once again got way too much but the looks on their faces were worth it all. The food was great, the company was even better and the night was just awesome.
Thanks everyone for such a memorable Christmas! I hope we are ALL together again next year and who knows, maybe a new family member or 2 will be added to the family tree.

What A Week.....
We've had a very busy past few days but are so thankful to be healthy and able to enjoy it all. We fed the Faculty & Staff on Wed. Levi had his annual "Reindeer Walk" on Thur. and his class party on Friday. We also had the regular school and church stuff which also included several hours of last minute Christmas Play practicing and prep. We also celebrated Christmas with Nana's side of the family on Saturday and throw in the last minute shopping on Friday and Sunday in b/t services and I don't know how we made it! I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR, though, I really do.
The boys enjoyed all of the activities and did a SUPER job in their program tonight. Josh and I were also involved and can you believe it, I didn't get any pics of my own. Thank goodness for a big church family who don't mind snapping pics and helping out. The boys both had lines and both had a solo and I couldn't have been prouder. The joy just bubbled up and tears spilled out as I watched and thought about how they have grown and matured into little men. What a Christmas blessing! My boys and family all together in church and healthy. What more could a person ask for?!
We also have a busy week ahead and pray the Lord gives us health and strength to enjoy every second of it! On Tues. night, my immediate family comes over for supper and spends the night. On Wed.- We head to Aunt Debbie's for lunch(who is so sick but would never ever let it slow her down for too long), then MawMaw Bozeman's for supper for "The Bozeman Bunch Christmas". Need I say, HOUSE FULL, LOUD, BUT.....LOTS OF LOVE!! Then on Thursday, Santa should've arrived and then supper with Nana and Pop! Blessed, Blessed, Blessed! Hope all of you have a wonderful, safe and joyous week! May God Bless All of You!
We had 2 pair of antlers, but on the way to school, Levi broke 1 of his antlers. We luckily had Houston's set in the car. Well, Houston didn't "want to be a doe", and there were no more antlers in Berry, so we opted for him a Santa hat. No complaints, he was "just fine w/that."
FRIDAY......
Then on Friday, we had the class party. Check out this bunch. Levi and Isaac are in the same class and Houston and Noah will also be in the same grade.

HAPPY 76th B-DAY GRANDADDY!!
My precious Grandaddy celebrated his 76th B-day today! He is such a blessing to our family and I cannot express how much I LOVE him! He has faced so many challenges throughout his life and God has brought him through them all! Houston told him today, "Only 24 more Grandaddy and you will be 100 and you will be busting through the ceiling!" He thinks you keep growing, no matter how old you are. I told him, you only grow "wider" instead of "taller" at our ages. I also celebrated my 34th D-B-day today! I love sharing my B-day with my big ole' teddy bear! We love you SO much Grandaddy! We wish you many, many more...... AT LEAST 24 more!

Good Behavior = Great Time!
Levi got to enjoy a "Bowling Field Trip" on Wednesday with about 60 other students from school. Two students from each class were chosen by their teacher to go. The criteria being...Best Behavior, of which I'm so proud! I also went as a chaperon and had 9 little munchkins'. We went to the mall and goofed for about an hour and then headed to Bama Bowl. They were treated to 2 games of bowling and pizza for lunch. They all had a great time and so did I! However, it didn't take me very long to realize.....I'm getting OLD!! I was pooped but enjoyed every second of it!
I wish I could have caught all the boys expressions on camera and given a copy to their parents. The looks and noises were so funny!
He stands just like his Daddy!

Levi's Latest.....
My precious innocent son, whom I thought would not learn such language, so young......well he did! No, not really that bad, but totally unexpected. He has always liked Mack and the feeling has always been mutual. Well, they have a new seating arrangement now in their classroom. At the neighboring desks, we have a couple of girls who have found themselves interested in Levi. It is hilarious! One of the little girls made her feelings quite public on their latest bulletin board in the hall. They did something about snowflakes and she bordered her snowflake with "I love Levi", "Levi is HOT", etc. I hadn't seen it but Christy had and told me and we got the biggest kick out of it. Anyway, I asked him about his snowflake. He "couldn't remember what he wrote". So, then I ask him about this particular little girl's snowflake. "Yes, Momma, I know, I know. She's crazy about me and she writes it on her desk and everything." Then this big statement...."You know, it's alright if other girls like ME, but I hope Mack don't think I'm cheatin' on her!" "Excuse me, what was that?! Cheatin' on her?!" "Yeah, Momma ain't that what they call it when you got more than 1?" Yes, that would be what it's called, but 1st Grade is a little young to be accused of cheatin' don't you think?!! My oh my, they learn early these days, don't they?!

New Pics
Mrs. Kim recently took pictures of the boys at her Mom & Dad's new barn. The boys of course LOVE to be outside. Put them anywhere near a Gator or 4-Wheeler and they are really lovin' it outside! There was a Gator, tractor and roosters, so they were feeling all boyish, but she managed to take some good pics. Thanks Mrs. Kim! So, here's my little munchkins.........
