Well, today wraps up my "Blessings Challenge" I accepted some few days ago. I love my morning devotion time. I also know when I don't take the time to do it. Just a few minutes of prayer and scripture in the AM helps me to begin a beautiful day no matter the forecast for outside. I encourage you, to just find a little time in the AM, maybe before the kiddos get up or whenever and get alone with God. You will not believe the impact and difference it will have on your life. So, thanks for going through the whole alphabet with me. Hope I didn't bore you. So this brings to me the last letter...."Z".
"Z"-"Zealous". Full of or characterized by, due to zeal; active, devoted or diligent. What a big word! I am to have a devoted, active, diligent attitude towards the things of God. "Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." Titus 2:14 WOW! I have been challenged through this last month in many different ways. The scriptures God has brought to my remembrance have been exactly what I needed when he gave them. One challenge has really been just taking the TIME to be thankful and reflect on what the Lord has done for me and my family and does on a daily basis. In the hecticness of life, we can sometimes focus on only the things that have went wrong in a days time and never reflect on the other 99% of the day that we had every need met, every meal provided, every piece of clothing we needed, etc. God is good to us all, all the time. May we always have a zeal to tell others about him and long to be closer to him every day. BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED! Thank you Lord for all your blessings on me! And thank you for all that you have in store for me and my family in the future!

Great job Angie. And you are so right. It makes such a difference if you can have some time each day for yourself - to think, pray or maybe even shower :)
