Fun Filled Week

I can't believe I haven't posted since Sunday. I'm usually all about the blogging. However, we have had a busy, fun filled week. We just did the usual summer things. EXCEPT, hopefully for the 1st and only summer buzz haircut. Houston definitely looks so different and Levi just had to have his buzzed too. I can't believe I let him talk me into it. Anyway, it will grow out and I hope very soon!

Levi had a Dentist appt. earlier this week. We also went to the Library to get his 1st official Library card. We got a few books and movies and went to the park to play afterwards. We also swam a few times this week and as always played baseball. Levi never gets enough of it. And just let me tell you, I'm not what I used to be when it comes to playing outside. I guess the extra 20 lbs could make a little difference. But I seem to keep my winter coat year round, these days. The Star Crunches and Krispy Kreme doughnuts may have something to do with it. I just really don't like to get cold in the winter, ha!

We also spent a day with Zac and Aunt Kristi, FUN!! The boys adore Zac and he is so precious. And I adore Aunt Kristi for she too is so precious. She is my Aunt, however, she is like a sister. We really have a lot of fun together and the boys really play well together. And Uncle Mark, he's not so bad either,ha.

I have always catered to my boys every need and focused the majority of my time and efforts on them. I truly do not have a hobby outside of them and definitely have NEVER been a reader, even before the boys. However, I stumbled upon a website, I believe thru Raegan's blog~ The Pioneer Woman. Just let me tell you, I think I have read everything on that blog. After the boys have gone to bed, I have started reading and before I know it, it has been 1-2 AM. Do you know how long it has been since I've seen those hours of the morning?! It is so interesting. She has a great sense of humor and you can tell that she truly adores her children and husband. Her recipes sound so good and her pictures are breathtaking. Anyway, you may want to check it out when you get the time. Anyway, hope all of you have had a great week! The summer will be gone before we know it!

Me, three! I have tried several of her recipes...they are delish!!

She is phenomenal with her food and her photos....and her love story, "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" is the best. She needs to write a book, definitely!! :)

Glad y'all are having fun in the summer sun!!
