A great idea from BES. A field trip is given for those chosen by their teachers for Academic or Citizenship performance. A great way to encourage studying and great behavior. They were awarded with a trip to see A Christmas Carol, popcorn and drink while at the movies, and lunch at McDonald's. A bus full!! 3 to a seat!! Levi was chosen for Citizenship and Isaac was chosen for Academic. I had 10 to chaperon. K-2nd graders. Whew! So thankful to get to be a part of it though. I think I made approx. 10 trips to the bathroom during the movie. We ALL went right before but Coke just seems to do that to them. I would NOT let them out of my sight so I went on every potty trip.ha It was a very exciting day. The trip and then had to be back by 1:30 for the party festivities to begin. We made it back too! The kids were very well behaved. We had 3 people approach us and ask us where we were from. One at the movies and 2x in McDonald's. They all complimented on how well behaved our children were. That should make some Momma's and Daddy's very proud! Thanks Mrs. Deavours and Mr. Thomas!
