A little behind with this post also, a couple of Saturday nights ago, we had Ben and Jennifer a Couples Shower for Baby Wes. We were so glad to be able to celebrate this exciting time with them. The girls wanted to do a little something for them, real informal and comfortable for everyone. We got together here at the house and laughed all night! It had been so long, since we had ALL been together that we forgot how much fun it was. Why we called it a couples shower, I don't know. The girls were in the living room and we talked about our children and "other things", while the men all stayed in the kitchen and talked about "guy stuff". I don't know the last time that I have laughed SO much! I'm so thankful for true friends. No matter, how long it's been or how far away you are, you can always pick right up where you left off! God has been so good to all our families and for that I'm most thankful. Ben and Jennifer have endured a lot of pain over the past few years, but God has bundled up enough JOY inside this little fella' to help them heal, and I can't wait for them to get the opportunity to experience it! We wish you the best Ben, Jenn and Baby Wes(set to arrive 2/10/09, my honey's b-day)!
